Retired with Our Gratitude

Harley
Hi my name is Harley. I was found on the streets of the Florida panhandle and taken to a really nice rescue in Brooksville, Fl, called Wags2Riches. I am a happy, energetic girl who really loves people. I am so excited I passed the requirements for Companions for Courage! I know it won’t be long before the work Companions for Courage does will be needed again, and I will be ready with a big smile and a wagging tail!

Spirit
Meet Spirit, an awesome Airedale Terrier! Her favorite “job” is listening to stories from beginning readers at schools and libraries. Her favorite “sport” is “sniffing” and she competes with the National Association of Canine Scent Work. She is curious about everything and loves new situations where she can meet dogs and people of all ages. Area hospitals have welcomed her in an array of departments. We look forward to serving as a Companions with Courage team and bringing more joy and comfort to our community.

Winslow
Winslow likes playing outside, carrying around his stuffed moose, and helping children tell their stories. Sometimes he is a secret keeper. He loves babies and puppies. His best day is when he gets to work and then come home and play with his two golden sisters.– Cindy

Zak
Zak is a German Shepherd who was born in a New York guide dog foundation in 2015. Zak’s dream was to be a therapy dog rather than a guide dog, so he was adopted out at 9 weeks old. Zak grew into a wonderful boy and has been an amazing therapy dog since he was a year old. He has a particular fondness for children—and lots of love and attention!
