Yodel Lady Yoo Hoo (better known simply as Yoo Hoo, because, let’s be honest, it’s way more fun to shout across a park) is a 5-year-old Chocolate Labrador with a master’s degree in tail-wagging and a PhD in spreading joy.
Yoo Hoo has been a certified therapy dog since July 2022, and is now thrilled to be a member of Companions for Courage. Yoo Hoo always likes to meet new people and make new friends. She gets so excited it’s not just her tail that wags—it’s a full-body celebration. Her excitement level can only be measured in “wiggles per minute.”
Like all Labradors, Yoo Hoo has a deep and abiding love for treats. Cookies? Yes. Peanut butter? Absolutely. Watermelon? Don’t mind if she does. Pup cups? You bet. But above all else, Yoo Hoo is a true chicken nugget connoisseur. Her favorite? Wendy’s, of course—because she insists on quality nuggets for quality work. Wherever Yoo Hoo goes, smiles follow, tails wag, and hearts feel a little lighter. Because in her world, kindness, cuddles, and chicken nuggets are the ultimate therapy.
